Brody Hull delivered a standout freshman 2025/26 season at UCCS, quickly establishing himself as one of the RMAC’s most reliable young performers. At 6'6", the Australian forward led the Mountain Lions in total scoring with 358 points and was the only player on the roster to start and appear in all 29 games — a reflection of his consistency, competitiveness, and trust earned from the coaching staff.
Offensively, Hull delivered a balanced and efficient scoring profile. He averaged 12.3 points per game on 46.3% shooting, added 32.3% from three, and showcased elite touch at the line with 85.2% free throw performance — ranking 1st on his team and 1st among all freshman forwards in NCAA Division II. His elite-level FTr of 46.7% demonstrated strong rim pressure, physicality, and efficiency — valued highly by his coaches for both scoring reliability and mismatch creation. Hull's mechanics are clean, his decision‑making is composed, and he consistently found high‑quality shots within the offense.
Hull’s impact grew even stronger in RMAC play. Against conference opponents, he lifted his scoring to 12.8 points per game, increased his field‑goal percentage to 47.4%, and raised his three‑point accuracy from 32.3% to 35.6%. That upward trend against familiar, well‑scouted opponents highlights his ability to adjust, read defenses, and elevate his game as the season progressed.
Defensively, Hull was one of UCCS’s most active contributors. He finished with 44 steals ranking 1st on his team, 4th among all freshman forwards in NCAA Division II and 8th overall in the RMAC, where he consistently disrupted actions with anticipation and length. Paired with 4.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.3 blocks per game, he showed the ability to influence possessions on both ends of the floor and compete physically against older, more experienced players.
Beyond the numbers, Hull’s freshman season stood out for how complete and dependable his game became. He logged over 700 minutes, ranked top in steals, top‑two on the team in rebounds, assists and minutes played, and delivered double‑figure scoring in 19 games — including multiple 20‑point performances with a season high of 29. His ability to impact games in different ways made him a central piece of the UCCS rotation from day one.
His freshman campaign earned him All-RMAC Honorable Mention and a nomination for RMAC Freshman of the Year, underscoring the respect he gained across the conference. With his blend of size, efficiency, defensive instincts, and year‑one consistency, Brody Hull enters his sophomore season as a rising forward with significant upside and momentum.

Junior Career
Prior to arriving at UCCS in the Fall of 2025, Hull had established himself in the Australian junior ranks with a championship pedigree and a track record of excellence. A four-time Victoria state team representative at National Championships from 16U through 20U, Hull brought to UCCS elite-level experience, leadership, and a proven ability to impact winning at the highest levels.
In 2025, he played a pivotal role in Victoria’s triumph at the Australian 20U National Championship and helped secure back-to-back Victoria U20 State titles with his Kilsyth club, contributing to an historic three-peat. That same year, he led the Victoria Select team to victory at the Japan B.League 18U International Cup, earning MVP honors for his standout performance.
His consistency and competitive drive continued to shine during 2025 as he helped lead Kilsyth’s 23U team to the Victorian State Championship following a record-breaking 21–1 regular season. At just 18 years old, Hull’s defensive dominance earned him Defensive Player of the Year honours in the 23U Victorian State League, where he was widely regarded as one of the league’s most disruptive and dependable defenders. His strong performances earned him selection to Kilsyth’s NBL1 roster, where he made his debut in May 2025.
In 2024, Hull led Kilsyth’s 20U team to a State Championship title, earning Finals MVP honors, while also contributing to the club's 23U team’s silver-medal finish. Internationally, he competed on the Puma PRO16/NXTPRO circuit in the U.S. with AUSA Australia, achieving a 10–3 record, and represented Airtime Australia at the TYAI International Cup in Taiwan, securing a silver medal.
His championship success extends to earlier years, including gold at the Australian 18U Country Championships and silver at the Australian 18U National Championships in 2023. In 2022, he won gold at the Victoria 18U State Championship and silver at the 17U State College Championship.
Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Hull was recognised for his leadership and all-around sporting excellence, serving as Sports Captain in both 2023 and 2024 during his junior and senior high school years.
A multi-sport athlete, Hull’s background in Australian Rules Football has built his toughness, physicality, and high motor—traits. His disciplined approach, fierce competitiveness, and team-first mentality, helped make him a key piece in all of his junior teams on and off the hardwood.
